The first portion of the VRS product - the Data Gateway Service (DGS) has now been released. This subsystem is integral to the VRS client reporting product, but can be purchased as a stand alone product capable of simplifying, exposing, enhancing and manipulating your corporate data assets.

The Data-Gateway Service (DGS) is a platform independent virtual warehouse designed to be the backbone of your corporate data access. It provides formal and controlled retrieval of data from any source, making the data visible to multiple channels including Excel & Word (or your desktop), Web Services and a Java API for integration with your in-house applications. By having one source for your data you ensure consistency throughout your organisation.

The DGS can enhance the corporate data with sign-off, security, snapshot, data maintenance, filtering and processing capabilities all within a simple to maintain and standard framework.
